NetSendo v1.7.20: CRM & Zoom Sync That Just Works

🚀 A More Reliable CRM: What’s New in v1.7.20

Managing a sales pipeline is complex. You juggle tasks, schedule meetings, and track deal progress. When the tools meant to help you fail—like a Zoom meeting link not syncing to your calendar—it breaks your workflow and can cost you a sale. NetSendo v1.7.20 is dedicated to eliminating that friction.

TL;DR: NetSendo v1.7.20 massively improves the CRM and Zoom integration. Meetings now automatically update and delete in sync with CRM tasks. We've added crucial notifications for overdue tasks and deal stage changes, and fixed critical bugs for a seamless, reliable sales workflow.

This update focuses on making our CRM not just a feature, but a rock-solid foundation for your sales and marketing operations. We’ve rebuilt the connection between your tasks, your calendar, and your video calls to be truly seamless.

Automatic Zoom Meeting Lifecycle

Previously, managing a Zoom meeting created from a CRM task required manual updates. If a client rescheduled, you had to edit the task in NetSendo and the meeting in Zoom. No more.

Think of it as a personal assistant for your schedule. NetSendo now intelligently manages the entire lifecycle of your Zoom meetings:

  • Update in Sync: Change a task's title or time, and the linked Zoom meeting and calendar event update automatically.
  • Smart Deletion: Delete a CRM task or simply toggle off the "Zoom Meeting" switch, and the associated meeting is instantly removed from Zoom.
  • No More Duplicates: We’ve fixed a bug that could create duplicate meetings if a background job was retried, ensuring your calendar stays clean.
ℹ️ Note: This also fixes the missing "Join" button in Google Calendar events. The Zoom link is now correctly placed in the `location` field for one-click access.

Proactive CRM Notifications

A CRM should actively help you, not just store data. We've introduced three new notification classes to keep your team on top of every opportunity:

🔔

Task Overdue

Receive an email and in-app alert when a scheduled task's deadline passes, ensuring no follow-up falls through the cracks.

🏆

Deal Stage Changed

The deal owner is instantly notified when a deal is moved to a new stage, perfect for celebrating wins or analyzing losses.

💬

Contact Replied

Get a notification the moment a CRM contact replies to your communications, enabling lightning-fast responses.

💼 Benefits & Use Cases

These updates translate directly into a more efficient and powerful workflow for any team using the NetSendo CRM.

📈

SaaS Sales Team

A sales rep schedules a demo in a NetSendo CRM task, and a Zoom link is auto-generated and synced to their Google Calendar. The prospect asks to reschedule. The rep simply drags the task to a new time slot in the CRM calendar. Instantly, NetSendo updates the Zoom meeting and the calendar event. No manual work, no risk of sending the wrong link.

🏢

Marketing Agency

An account manager has been nurturing a lead. They finally close the deal and drag the card from "Proposal" to "Won" in the NetSendo deals pipeline. Immediately, the `DealStageChangedNotification` fires, sending a message to a shared Slack channel, letting the project management and finance teams know it's time to kick off onboarding and invoicing.

🛠️ Step-by-Step: Leveraging the New Sync

Putting these improvements to work is easy, as they enhance the existing functionality. Here’s how to ensure you're getting the most out of it.

  1. Update Your Instance

First, make sure you are running NetSendo v1.7.20 or later. Pull the latest Docker image to get all the new features and fixes.

    docker-compose pull
    docker-compose up -d
  2. Connect Your Zoom & Calendar

If you haven't already, navigate to Settings → Integrations. Connect your Zoom account and ensure your users have connected their individual calendars. This is the foundation for the sync.

  3. Create a Task with a Zoom Meeting

Open a contact or deal in the CRM and create a new task. Set a date and time, and toggle the "Zoom Meeting" switch. A meeting link will be generated automatically.

  4. Modify the Task

Try changing the task's time or title. Check your Zoom account and connected calendar—the changes will be reflected there within moments. Now, delete the task in NetSendo. The Zoom meeting will be gone too. It's that simple.

🎯 Expert Tips

1
Customize Notification Channels

Don't let important alerts get lost in your inbox. Go to Settings → Notifications to route the new CRM notifications to a dedicated Slack channel for your sales team, ensuring everyone sees important updates instantly.

2
Automate Onboarding from "Won" Deals

Combine the `DealStageChanged` notification with NetSendo's automation builder. Create a workflow that triggers when a deal is won, automatically adding the contact to a "New Customer Onboarding" email sequence.

3
Review Zoom Permissions

Since NetSendo now has deeper control over your Zoom meetings (including deletion), it's good practice to periodically review the permissions you've granted in your Zoom Marketplace account to ensure they align with your security policies.

Ready for a Smarter CRM?

Stop juggling tabs and manually correcting sync errors. Upgrade to NetSendo v1.7.20 to get a CRM that works for you, not against you.
